The World Minorities Assembly is being
established comprising outstanding and bona fide spokesmen of
religious minorities living in various countries along the
globe. Those selected on the 500 strong World Assembly will have

Minorities Organization. The World Minorities Organization will

minorities without discrimination on the basis of castes, creed
or color.
In the first instance the members of the World Assembly will be
nominated for three years. Subsequently they may be chosen

make it authoritative and broad based. On the opening day the

nominate office holders in the first instance pending elections.

of the institutions stipulated in the agenda. The personnel
running the institutions will be answerable to the Assembly.
After taking into account the current working the Assembly may
give guidelines for further streamlining. The honorable members
having special interest in any particular sector may be accorded
additional advisory/supervisory role of their liking.

The convener Julius Salik (popularly known as J.Salik) who
conceived the World Minorities Alliance thirty years back
believes that the world peace is inveterately linked with
economic, social and political uplift of the minorities who at
present are generally downtrodden in most of the countries.
After having given thought to the problems of the oppressed,
backward and downtrodden groups particularly the repressed
minorities all over the world, J.Salik had come to the
conclusion that the salvation lies in unity.
From amongst the general participants of the World Minorities
Peace Conference in Pakistan, those enjoying outstanding stature
and are prepared to play a role in the permanent set up of the
World Minorities Organization may become members of 500 strong
World Assembly. In the first instance there will be nomination
for two years. Subsequently they may be chosen through election.
Each country will be given representation to make it
authoritative and broad based. The Assembly may meet annually to
debate and oversee the working of the institutions stipulated in
the agenda. The personnel running the institutions will be
answerable to the Assembly. After taking into account the
current working the Assembly may give guidelines for further
streamlining. The honorable members evincing interest in any
particular sector may be accorded additional
advisory/supervisory role of their liking.
First of all I would like to introduce to you the newly created World Minority Alliance. In fact due to rising instability all over the world this organization is established to protect the rights of minorities worldwide, particularly in the UN member countries .To familiarize yourself with the objectives and activities of the World Minority Alliance, I would appreciate if you could spare few minutes to visit our following web site .
www.jsalik.com. I would also like to Highlight the point that this is my firm
belief that no government can achieve its ideals without creating sense of
protection and safety among its minorities. Thus if minorities are prosperous
Nation would progress and vice versa. Under the current global circumstances, it
can safely be argued that the world can only progress when all of us would have
equal opportunities. I am sure in your political career you would have taken
various hard decisions with regard to the betterment of your nation. In the same
context, I would also like to re-draw your kind attention on issue related to
minorities in your country. Just for your information, being a follower of
Christian faith here in Pakistan, I am actively engaged for past 30 years for
the betterment of all minorities in the country. Further to say, in the past, I
have been a Member of Parliament, worked as federal minister in the Central
Government, and was also nominated for NOBLE PEACE PRIZE. I have also been an
active leader of Democratic Party of Pakistan. I am sure you would also agree
with me that we all need PEACE and PROSPERITY which can only be achieved through
co-existence and mutual tolerance. Thus, we have a common objective and I would
like to invite you to join us so that we could jointly rise our voice at local,
national and international levels. Thank you for your consideration and I look
forward to hearing from you. Best wishes.
